The Acacia
is a small family run guest housein Scarborough,
North Yorkshire, situated in Scarborough's South Bay
conservation
area,
near the Italian Gardens and the Spa, a few minutes
from the town centre and within easy reach of all attractions
- sea,
shops, restaurants, theatres, art galleries, museums,
the Castle, Conference Centre.
Alan and Pauline welcome you to their home - The Acacia
Guest House. They became the new owners in July 2006
and, looking at things with
a fresh
eye, began making changes to enhance the ambience
of this beautiful Victorian building.
The seven twin/double bedrooms all have
private en suite facilities of handbasin, shower or bath, and toilet.
The rooms are situated on the first and second floors and are serviced
daily.
Breakfast is served in the dining room from 8.00 - 8.30am.
Every effort is made to accommodate special diets and
Yorkshire produce is used as far as possible to enable
the
provision of a really wholesome breakfast.
Light snacks are available by request - toasted
sandwiches, freshly baked scones/cake,
tea/coffee served
in
the lounge at almost any reasonable time. Relax and enjoy!
The guest lounge offers comfy seating areas, where you can rest, read,
chat with fellow visitors, or enjoy playing cards, dominoes or board
